TEMPE, Ariz. Hold off on those Kevin Kolb return stories. It appears we jumped the gun.
Following a third straight day of limited reps, Kolb is still questionable for Sundays game in St. Louis with lingering turf toe and bone bruise issues, while backup quarterback John Skelton sure sounded like a guy about to make his fourth straight start and second in four weeks against the Rams.
"Theres a sense of familiarity," said Skelton, who is coming off a rough start last week in San Francisco in which he completed just six passes while tossing three interceptions. "You always want to redeem yourself after a game like that one."
Multiple concerns still remain for Kolb, including:
Soreness in the foot on Thursday and Friday;
The rust level after missing three straight games;
The swelling that may be created by a cross-country flight;
And the impact of the Edward Jones Domes turf on what, by all accounts, has been a very painful injury
If you saw his foot the day after the Baltimo...
