The Minnesota Vikings offered former Philadelphia Eagles safety Kurt Coleman a contract, but Coleman is still weighing his options, reports Ben Goessling of ESPN.com. Coleman visited Minnesota Wednesday and Thursday, which the Vikings confirmed Friday morning, but the free agent left the facility without a contract. Coleman started 27 games between 2011 and 2012 for the Eagles, but lost his starting job last season.  Coleman will likely be used on special teams and backup both safety spots, competing with Jamarca Sanford and Andrew Sendejo for playing time. The Vikings and Coleman could still come to an agreement this offseason. In fact, my wife is threatening to “rinse me off” with the lawn hose.  I’m guessing it’s due to the smell.   8.) QB BLAKE BORTLES, CENTRAL...

Adrian Peterson will prove to Mike Zimmer that he’s a leader

Minnesota Vikings new head coach Mike Zimmer says running back Adrian Peterson isn’t the team leader just because he’s the most popular player on the team. “Well, I’ve talked to Adrian and Adrian is the most well-known player on the team,’’ Zimmer said to Austin, Texas, station 104.9 The Horn, via TwinCities.com. “That doesn’t necessarily mean those guys are the leaders...

Offensive Linemen: The most important players in the NFL

General Managers and Coaches in the NFL are constantly in search of the ‘great running back.’  I believe they’re looking at the running game in the wrong area.  An offensive line that works together, and stays together, is the key to being able to run the football effectively. There have been a few truly great running backs, who can ‘make their own holes’ and evade defensive...

Vikings 2014 Preseason Schedule Loaded With Excitement!

On Wednesday, the NFL released details about the 2014 football schedule. Of course, the details they released weren’t really that specific, and they were only about the preseason. BUT!
