PLAYERS: LaRon Landry
TEAMS: New York Jets

New York Jets safety LaRon Landry has made it clear that he’s not willing to give the Jets a “hometown discount” to make it easier for them to re-sign him after this season. “What do you mean (by) a discount?” Landry said, per the New York Daily News. “Take less over what? From where?… If that (were) the case, I would have taken a hometown discount and stayed with the Redskins.… I love the game. I love this organization. I love them for giving me an opportunity. But at the end of the day, I’m going to sit down with my agent and my family and make the best business decision.” “I get along (with the coaches),” Landry added. “But at the end of the day, man, I got to think about my future and longevity too.” I don’t blame Landry for being unwilling to take less money.  He was hoping to break the bank last year, but because of a lingering Achilles injury he was lucky to get a contract at all. Now after a very good season in New York, Landry will be a hot commodity on the open market.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Here's a quick look at this weeks games. NY...

Through a tumultuous up and down 2012 season, the New York Jets have experienced some all-time lows in the Rex Ryan era, this year.
