Found October 14, 2013 on The Pack Mentality:
The injury news just keeps on hitting the Packers harder than Clay Matthews does on a quarterback. It is now being reported that Packers LB Nick Perry has a broken foot. Perry was starting for Clay Matthews, who recently had thumb surgery and is expected to miss four weeks. The news comes courtesy of cheeseheadtv.com: Perry got hurt sacking and forcing a fumble on Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco on Sunday that led to a Packers’ field goal as time expired before halftime. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Perry sprained his ankle on the play. He later returned for five plays in the second half. Perry’s injury seems to be coming at the worst possible time, with fellow outside linebacker Clay Matthews also expected to miss several weeks while recovering from thumb injury. The second-year linebacker appeared to be coming into his own, notching three sacks in past two games. The news is unfortunate for a lot of reasons. Perry was already...

Packers Reportedly to Promote WR Myles White to Active Roster

With the slew of injuries that the Packers had at wide receiver this past week, it is unsurprising that the team is looking for options to fill the team's suddenly thin receiving corps. With Randall Cobb out for a couple of weeks, and James Jones status unceratin for this week, the Packers had Jordy Nelson and Jarrett Boykin as the only healthy receivers on the roster...

Jermichael Finley expected to play receiver with Randall Cobb out

With Randall Cobb out for a while with a broken leg,  Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is expected to play a lot of receiver,  according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Packers get gritty win over Ravens 19-17

Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers hit big plays at the right time, and Green Bay's injury plagued defense manhandled the defending Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens in a 19-17 win.

Green Bay blocked a punt, then stupidly gave the ball back to Baltimore

The Packers blocked a punt during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Ravens, but then they gave the ball away thanks to a bonehead play by Green Bay fullback John Kuhn. Kuhn tried to scoop up the football and run with it but couldn’t bring it in. Instead, the Ravens managed to recover the ball for a first down. And that, my friends, is why they tell you to just fall...

Packers WR James Jones hurt and will not return

Green Bay Packers prove grit against Baltimore Ravens, 19-17

Five weeks into the 2013 NFL regular season, there is one thing we can say for sure: These aren’t your 2011 Green Bay Packers. Then again, they’re not your 2012 Packers, either. Despite not making any flashy moves in the offseason or significantly upgrading the roster in any way, this 2013 Green Bay team seems […]The post Green Bay Packers prove grit against Baltimore Ravens...

Packers show improvement at expense of Ravens

The Green Bay Packers are beginning to make progress in their effort to become a team capable of playing in the Super Bowl. Baltimore, on the other hand, appears stuck in neutral. Green Bay's 19-17 victory over the Ravens on Sunday, combined with its dominating effort against Detroit one week earlier, left Packers coach Mike McCarthy beaming. ''We definitely played...

Tuesday Recap: You’re Kidding, Right?

Does anyone else around here feel like if the Green Bay Packers dealt with even an average-to-above-average number of injuries they’d be like the early-mid 2000′s Patriots?  Tuesday’s news cycle brought the news that Randall Cobb is ineligible to practice with the team for the next 6 weeks and ineligible to play for the next 8.  His return should be in week 15 against Dallas...
