But Little, a 35-year-old with 12 years under his NFL belt, all with the Rams, is a free agent. And he hasn't decided just what it is he wants to do.
``We have been going back and forth,'' coach Steve Spagnuolo said Thursday afternoon. ``We haven't had a chance. I want to hear that voice on there because I love Leonard and I love talking to him. Until I get to him and have a feel of what he's thinking, we're still assessing the young guys that we have out there.
``I really (want to) visit and have a conversation in the near future. Then I'll just find out where he's at and we'll kind of gauge it.''
There are days when Little feels the urge to be back on the field. But there are days when that's not true, too. So he continues to ponder his future.
