Philadelphia Eagles two-time Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson isn’t the only member of the Philadelphia Eagles that is seeking a new contract — so is starting running back LeSean “Shady” McCoy. McCoy was recognized by the NFL for his production through the 2011 season with the FedEx Ground Player of the Year award the Eagles announced on Wednesday. McCoy, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, has done it all in a very short period of time in the NFL. From stepping in to fill the shoes of legendary Brian Westbrook, to his durability, and oh  yeah, we can’t forget about the fact that he holds the No. 1 spot in the Eagles records books for most touchdowns in a single season with 17 rushing touchdowns (20 total).
