Lions hope to build off 2nd comeback win in last 3

Associated Press  |  Last updated October 29, 2012
The Detroit Lions have a chance to get back to .500 this weekend with an offense that finally shook off its first-half scoring troubles. After scoring just one opening-half touchdown in their first six games, the Lions got two in Sunday's 28-24 win over visiting Seattle. Even better, they had three scores after the Seahawks got touchdowns. ''The offense went in every time and responded with touchdowns,'' coach Jim Schwartz said Monday. Now the Lions (3-4) can get to .500 for the first time since the second week of the season and the chances for a second straight win are promising Sunday when Detroit visits Jacksonville, which has lost four in a row.
