Detroit Lions coaches and management previously said they were satisfied with backup quarterback Kellen Moore, but today's transaction may prove otherwise. The Lions have re-signed quarterback R.J. Archer, according to Tim Twentyman, the team's official reporter. Archer signed a one-year deal, meaning the team must release one of its players. That transaction has not been announced.
