The Detroit Lions have a decision to make at right tackle. Again. After rotating starters through most of the season’s first two months due to injury, undrafted rookie LaAdrian Waddle started last week’s 31-30 win over the Dallas Cowboys and turned in an impressive overall performance. Waddle allowed just one quarterback hit and one hurry on 52 pass snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, and he fared well enough in his first career start that the Lions awarded him the championship belt they bestow upon their best lineman every week. “I feel like I played pretty well,” Waddle said Tuesday before leaving for this week’s bye. “I got positive feedback from coaches. Definitely didn’t play a perfect game by any means, but felt like I performed well and I’m going to keep working off some of those things that I could fine-tune and get a little better at. But overall, pretty good performance.” A three-year starter at left tackle for Texas Tech, Waddle was thrust into the rotation last week after Corey Hilliard injured his left knee in an Oct. 20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
