Detroit Lions Football:
It really doesn't make much sense, but the numbers don't lie. The Detroit Lions had the NFL's worst defense last year, but they did a very good job of controlling the league's best running back. Not just once, but twice. The Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson rushed for more than 100 yards in each game against the Lions last season, but he didn't score a touchdown in either game.
