Yes the Detroit Lions won. The sense
about Detroit seems to be that we finally 'accomplished' that win. Yes
we did get a win, but that's not 'the' accomplishment. The job isn't
over here folks.
This team needs to view this as the beginning of a long task, not
the end of a long task. Now is not the time to relax because they
finally accomplished that one thing, 'a win'.
In the past this team would shrink back and almost relax after they
won a game or broke a streak of futility. In the past this team acted
like ending the streak of futility was the main task to be completed.
They acted like ONE win ended it and they would go back to business as
usual.
These Detroit Lions can not go back to business as usual after this
win. They haven't finished the race, the race has only begun.
Our team can't celebrate as if they've won the Super Bowl or broken
through and that the futility is ended. When one win is celebrated
with so much importanc...
