     In a day that was full of surprises, this one would have to rank towards the top.  It is being reported that DeSean Jackson will be given the franchise tag by the Philadelphia Eagles.  First it was Randy Moss coming out of retirement, then Jackson getting franchise tag, and what’s next?  T.O. has a multi-year deal making him the highest paid receiver???  Well we know that won’t happen.  According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, it looks like the Phladelphia Eagles will give DeSean Jackson that tag.      With the March 5 deadline coming up, what could be Philadelphia’s motive for doing this?  Well let us breakdown three possible scenarios.  Here they are: 1.  Franchise him and keep him for the 2012 season. 2. Franchise him and trade him for compensation presumably in the form of a first-round draft pick. 3.
