ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes if Christian Ponder struggles this season, the Minnesota Vikings may not hesitate to bench him in favor of Matt Cassel.
He has to show that he is growing as a quarterback, getting better on a season-to-season basis, that there’s a reason for the Vikings to believe in him. I’m not sure he has to get the Minnesota to the playoffs again this season...

The Minnesota Vikings signed receiver Greg Jennings because he’s an established NFL pass catcher that has put up great numbers during his career.
However, the bonus is the team gets a leader who can mentor young wideouts like Jerome Simpson and Corradelle Patterson.
Coming from Green Bay where the passing game is as sophisticated as one can be, Jennings has a lot to show the...
Greg Jennings is loving life with the Minnesota Vikings.
Jennings is enjoying the opportunity to display his skills, and most importantly, get his number called. During an interview with the Star Tribune, Jennings ripped the Packers offense, calling it “cookie cutter,” and stated “he didn’t have to walk on egg shells anymore.”
“It’s not a free-for-all. There’s structure...

The only thing that would spice this battle up would be if the Vikings keep a fourth tight end like last season or there is an injury in camp, and no one wants...
The Minnesota Vikings have reached a crossroad, coming off a remarkable season during which they improved by seven victories, made the playoffs and watched Adrian Peterson transition from ACL rehab patient to MVP award winner.
Slip back a bit, and 2013 will likely be widely viewed as a disappointment. To pick up where their progress left off last year, though, the Vikings will need...
