Pro Sports Daily:
When Michael Vick was ruled inactive before Sunday's Week 6 game against the Cowboys it was notable that Nick Foles' only "real" backup was Matt Barkley. Now that Foles has been ruled out with a head injury it's really notable.
Barkley's first drive under center didn't go so hot as the former USC standout threw a pick (and got lucky not to throw one sooner) to Sean Lee probably ending the Eagles chances at a comeback win.
The second drive wasn't much better with Barkley eventually getting picked by Barry Church as well.
Overall Barkley went 5-for-11 on the first two drives throwing for 53 yards and a pair of picks.

Sunday was not Nick Foles’ day. Photo via the Philadelphia Eagles.
Whatever Nick Foles had for breakfast on Sunday, he shouldn’t plan to have ever again on a game day.
In the absence of any other explanation for his awful performance at the Linc against the Cowboys, let’s just go ahead and blame it on the Wheaties. Foles wasn’t available following the game to discuss what...
After missing the past two games due to a hamstring injury, Michael Vick appears poised to return to the starting lineup Sunday against the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field.
It seems all systems are go for Starship Seven to liftoff once again for the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday against the New York Giants.
Michael Vick took all of the first-team reps for the Eagles at practice...
Sunday was Chip Kelly's lowest offensive output as a head coach. He and his offensive skill players did Nick Foles no favors amid the quarterback's worst performance as a professional.
Perhaps the most suprising and disappointing moments from Chip Kelly's first NFL sojourn as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles took place at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday.
In today's Eagles-Cowboys game, the woeful Eagles' defense clearly played their best game of the year. They kept up some good work against the run, got off the field on third down, achieved some success in rushing the passer, had a game-changing interception when the team needed it the most, and held an explosive offense to 17 points despite being put, time...
Another QB blow for the Eagles. Matt Barkley likely be the number two or may even start if Mike Vick can’t go Sunday vs. the Giants.
Coach Kelly: QB Nick Foles has a concussion … Goes into the league protocol.

Forbes has released its latest poll of the most disliked players in the NFL once again. While you might think that time would heal some wounds for people when it comes to Michael Vick--it hasn't. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is still the most hated man in the NFL (than again he did bank roll a dog fighting ring so I understand).
What may be surprising is who came in...
A list of the most hated players in the NFL was compiled by a group out of California and 2013′s most hated player is Michael Vick. He got a whopping 53% of the vote by ‘casual fans’. Below is the top 5 with a little explanation for each guy:
1. Mike Vick
People forgive murderers of humans way before they will forgive a murderer of dogs.
2. Manti Te’o

In an NFC East showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles were unable to finish Dallas Week with a victory. The Eagles who have struggled to find ways to win games at home took another loss at the Linc. The Cowboys topped the Eagles 17-3.
Perhaps, the biggest story of the game was quarterback, Nick Foles’ performance. Foles who was 2-0 thus far...
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could be back in Week 8, according to ProFootballTalk.com.Fantasy Spin:Vick missed his second straight game Sunday against Dallas due to a hamstring injury. Nick Foles played well in Week 6 but was awful Sunday and ended up leaving with a head injury. We should see Vick back as soon as he is healthy enough to play.
They are never going to forgive Vick for killing Scooby Doo.
Eagles Photos Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will take the first-team reps in practice on Tuesday, says offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. “Mike will be out here taking the first-team reps,” Shurmur said. “He’ll be out there practicing and taking the reps. I wouldn’t encourage you to assume anything. Coach (Kelly) has talked about it —
He’s killing me T…Y'all Eagle fans should appreciate my brother Mike but y'all don't lmao. #DumbMotherF*****— Marcus Vick (@MVFive) October 20, 2013Michael Vick’s brother is always sticking his foot in his mouth, or in today’s social media world, saying stupid things on Twitter. Marcus Vick went off on Eagles fans, and called them a bad word. He had plenty to...
Fantasy football sucks. Life sucks. I hate myself. Just kidding, I won this week. That’s just what happens when you have Megatron and Matt Forte on the same team. Sometimes when I win, I lock myself in my room and play “All I do is win” on repeat for hours. Just kidding again, I always do that.
Since I am in good spirits, I can admit I was wrong about Miles Austin. I didn’t...
Four-time All-Pro defensive end DeMarcus Ware is inactive for the Dallas Cowboys against the Eagles, ending a streak of 134 consecutive games played.
A strained right quadriceps forced Ware to miss the first game in his nine-year career. Running back DeMarco Murray also is inactive because of a sprained ligament in his left knee.

Analysis of notable fantasy matchups in week 7.
QBs to sit or start.
Start Nick Foles vs. Cowboys. Foles is going to be the starter this week against one of the worst defenses in the league. I’m sure Cowboys’ ex-D.C. Rob Ryan is the first one laughing at this group of defensive backs allowing a league-worst 347 yards-per-game to opposing QBs.
Start Tony Romo @ Eagles. Ok, so...
