The Houston Texans have lost eight in a row since starting the NFL season 2-0 and are an official mess. Things got even messier on Sunday when the Texans pulled Case Keenum for Matt Schaub late in the third quarter of a 28-23 home loss to the Oakland Raiders. The Texans were down 28-17 when […]
Pretty much the worst thing that could happen to the Houston Texans happened Sunday--besides Matt Schaub being inserted back into the lineup. Late in the game it appeared that Schaub might be able to pull the game out with a late touchdown toss with the team facing fourth and goal at the eight-yard line.Instead he missed. What immediately followed on the sideline is what will haunt...
Probably wasn’t the best time to ask that question to Johnson. I understand he is frustrated, but can’t let those frustrations to boil over to the point that you are embarrassing your teammates like he did by walking off the field.
Johnson says that he and Schaub are fine, but he might not be fine with the Texans overall.
"I'm under contract," Andre Johnson says...
Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak and one-time franchise quarterback Matt Schaub might have written their tickets out of town with their actions in Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Kubiak pushed his chips to the center of the table and bet the house on Schaub when he made the head-scratching decision to bench a clearly superior Case Keenum in the third quarter.
The Houston Texans lost again this week, this time to the Arizona Cardinals. At one point quarterback Case Keenum was pulled from the game for poor play and Matt Schaub was put out on the field. Schaub and veteran wide receiver Matt Schaub were seen jawing at one another on the side line.
After the game neither head coach Gary Kubiak, Schaub or Johnson talked about the situation...

The 2-8 Texans imploded on Sunday during a painful loss to the Raiders. The normally quiet and calm Andre Johnson even had a meltdown, getting into a sideline spat with Matt Schaub.
After the game, the media wanted to know how Johnson felt about his...
During quarterback Matt Schaub's early-season struggles, Texans fans clamored for hometown college hero Case Keenum-- who began the season third on the team's depth chart-- to get the nod over the veteran.
Fans finally got their wish in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs with Schaub sidelined due to injury, and Kubiak even dubbed Keenum the starter despite the Schaub...
When we brought you the footage yesterday of Houston Texans’ wide receiver Andre Johnson walking off the field before the game was even officially over, you had to know it wasn’t a good sign. So to hear him say this afterwards, doesn’t exactly sound like he is ecstatic to be in Houston. “I’m under contract, […]
Case Keenum is balling out, and playing with the kind of moxie that the more talented Matt Schaub should be playing with.
Keenum is making a case to keep the job, and showed amazing poise by avoiding a likely sack and throwing a 42 yard dart to Garrett Graham for the touchdown.
Case Keenum has been playing very well since taking over for Matt Schaub. He has a tremendous scrambling TD pass against the Raiders.
Reminded me of Doug Flutie.
Covering the Houston Texans this season has been painful, make no bones about it. The news unfolds at a hectic pace, and it is rarely the type of news that any Texans fan wants to associate with.
Coach Gary Kubiak made a terrible decision to replace the future of his quarterback position in Case Keenum with Matt Schaub last Sunday, tossing the turnover machine into the fray in...
The Houston Texans extended a franchise record by losing their eighth straight game on Sunday to the Oakland Raiders.
And now they also have a quarterback controversy to go along with it.
Undrafted free agent rookie Matt McGloin threw three touchdown passes in his first NFL start to lead Oakland to a 28-23 victory in coach Gary Kubiak's return from a mini-stroke.
