Dolphins CB Vontae Davis will miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury. SAN DIEGO — The Miami Dolphins will be without three starters when they play the Chargers here in San Diego on Sunday. Cornerback Vontae Davis, linebacker Koa Misi and running back Daniel Thomas have all been ruled out for Sunday.
Davis was limited in practice throughout the week with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the Dolphins’ 17-16 loss earlier this week at the Cleveland Browns. That was the first game Davis had missed in his NFL career.
Misi (neck) and Thomas (hamstring), meanwhile, sat out practice on Friday. Both had been listed as questionable on the injury report that the Dolphins released on Friday.
The question, of course, is this: How will the absence of these three affect the Dolphins on Sunday?
