Here’s a drive-by on the 2011 Miami Dolphins season? Owner Steve Ross undercuts head coach Tony Sparano by pursuing Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, who eventually decides to coach the 49ers. As an apology Ross gives Sparano an extension, but it doesn’t help him when it comes to hiring a quality staff of assistants. But Sparano does the absolute best he can. The lockout prevents teams from working out together in the offseason, and some players come into camp overweight and need extra time to get into shape, and over injuries. It’s also challenging for offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to learn his personnel, and install a new offense. The Dolphins win three of the four exhibition games. Quarterback Chad Henne looks solid in his third season as a starter, but the team struggles in the first-quarter of the regular season. The free agent additions (Reggie Bush, Marc Colombo, Mr. Kevin Burnett, Jason Trusnik, Jason Taylor) and rookies (except for Mike Pouncey) fall short of living up to expectations,
