Bush reportedly said Miami "stinks" following the Dolphins' overtime loss to the Denver Broncos at home last Sunday.

Miami blew a 15-point lead with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, eventually falling in the extra period.

Bush was understandably upset after the loss, but to add insult to injury by criticizing his team is simply counterproductive.

Similar to the Chris Johnson situation earlier this week, Bush's comments come off as arrogant and that he thinks "I'm above the team" more than anything else.

These comments don't raise awareness about Miami's 0-6 struggles; rather, they only add to the negativity surrounding them.

Bell's reaction has so far been met with positive support from the Dolphins' locker room, and that about proves the point that Bush was out of line.

His production has been down in 2011, only 329 total yards and one score, and whether that's because of the offensive line play or his own, Bush must first get better by improving as a leader off the field.

For a veteran back in his first season with a new team, these comments seem surprising, but for a player like Bush, who is not used to losing at any level, learning to become a pro takes longer.

Bell was right to call out Bush, because the only thing worse than an 0-6 ball club is one with locker-room issues.

Yeremiah Bell: Reggie Bush 'stinks'

An 0-6 record appears to be taking its toll on the harmony inside Miami's locker room. Commenting on Bush's statement following the team's latest loss that the team stinks, Bell said, "He stinks."

Miami Dolphins Yeremiah Bell to Reggie Bush: “We Don’t Stink, You Stink”

The Miami Dolphins are the laughing stock in a league which includes the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders. In NFL terms, that is pathetic. The Dolphins are 0-6 in the 2011 regular season, and have lost nine straight games dating back to last year. they have an anemic offense, a weak defense and a lame duck head coach and general manager. Not to mention the fact...

Reggie Bush Reaches 100 Yards For Only the Second Time in NFL Career

Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins has been a disappointment so far in the NFL but that could be due to the lofty expectations that were assumed he would achieve. Bush is trying to make the best of a bad situation for the Dolphins as he has rushed for over 100 yards for only the second time in his NFL career. Both of his 100 yard performances have come against the New York Giants...

Dolphins Yeremiah Bell on Reggie Bush: “He Stinks”

The Dolphins season is over. The coach is about to be fired, they are responsible for Tebow mania and now they are trading insults like they are valley girls in High School. It started with Reggie Bush saying the team “stinks” and his teammate Yeremiah Bell responded to that. “He stinks,” Bell said emphatically after being asked what he thought of the comments by Bush. “That...

Bush's Comments Create Sir

Reggie Bush created a bit of controversy on Sunday when he said the Miami Dolphins are a team that "stinks" following their 18-15 defeat against the Denver Broncos — a loss in which the Dolphins blew a 15-point lead in the final three minutes of regulation.

Friday morning talking points: The finger-pointing has begun

Sometimes it’s impossible to keep negativity out of a locker room when a team comes up short of expectations. That’s where we start our talking points for Friday: 1. The Yeremiah Bell/Reggie Bush exchange demonstrates the team unity we’ve been hearing about isn’t all there. A week ago the Dolphins said that one of the [...]

Phins Blame Media For Bush-Bell Spat

The Miami Dolphins are through fighting with each other, and have united against a common opponent: the media. Apparently, when someone says one of his teammates stinks, he means something entirely different, which does not reflect upon the actual target of that statement. The Dolphins are as bad at rhetoric as they are at football. Yeremiah Bell said Thursday that he was quoted...

UNC Thursday News and Notes

Items of interest. Inside Carolina has your primer for the Committee on Infractions hearing which will happen on Friday. It is an extensive piece covering how the committee works and what UNC can reasonably expect. As noted previously, John Blake will be on hand to defend his good name or rather what’s left of it. Everett Withers will not attend nor will Jennifer Wiley who...

Dolphins put scare in Giants before losing, AGAIN

As far as losses go, Sunday’s 20-17 fourth-quarter collapse to the New York Giants might be the performance the Miami Dolphins can be proudest of this season. At this point the winless Dolphins (0-7) must be searching for reasons not to hang their head, and Sunday’s performance might just provide one. The Dolphins had the lead for three-plus quarters against a very good team...

Big Boo must unleash Helloween on Dolphins

If they were throwing a Halloween costume party inside MetLife Stadium today, Matt Moore would be wearing a Dan Marino mask, and Tony Sparano would be wearing a Don Shula mask. Yeremiah Bell would be disguised as Herman Edwards and Reggie Bush as DeSean Jackson. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they...
