After playing corner for most of his final year as an Oakland Raider, Baltimore Ravens safety Michael Huff is excited to focus on lining up in the middle.

The Raiders were thin at the cornerback position in 2012.

After starters Ron Bartell and Shawntae Spencer were injured early in the season, the Raiders were forced to move the former first round pick up to the line. Huff held his own as a corner.

In fact, he was still the most reliable part of Oakland’s secondary aside from strong safety Tyvon Branch.

However, Huff is still a natural safety, and the experience he gained last year will make him better than ever.

The Joe Flacco Banners In Denver Are Now Getting Defaced

When I first wrote about the Joe Flacco banners going up around Denver to promote next Thursday’s season kickoff game between the Broncos and Ravens, I figured, despite the feigned local media outrage, it was too stupid a thing for Broncos fans to actually get upset about. How wrong I was. Never again will I doubt the capacity of Broncos fans to lose their minds over the most trifling...

Ravens' first wave of cuts includes Tommy Streeter...

I guess I have a higher opinion of Tommy Streeter's talents than the Ravens do, because I thought the wide receiver from Miami had an inside track on making the team as a fourth wideout--- especially with David Reed gone. But that ship has sailed--at least for now. Maybe Streeter gets picked for the Practice Squad later on. Maybe he gets picked up now by another team? Maybe...

Super Bowl champs enter new era without Lewis

It's going to be a different kind of season for the Baltimore Ravens. For the first time in their 18-year existence, middle linebacker Ray Lewis won't be on the roster. And for only the second time, the Ravens will reign as defending Super Bowl champions. Much has happened to the franchise since Lewis hoisted the Lombardi Trophy following Baltimore's 34-31 win over...

Broncos fans still mad about Joe Flacco Banners start to Vandalize them

In case you missed it yesterday, we had a story about Broncos fans being upset at the league for hanging banners of Joe Flacco on their stadium to promote the NFL’s opening kickoff festivities. Well, the NFL didn’t stop there. Apparently they’ve hung banners of Flacco all over the city. On bus stops, billboards and light posts. As you can imagine, fans aren’t happy with those...

Despite winning the Super Bowl last season, the Baltimore Ravens will open the 2013 season on the road in Denver because a scheduling conflict with the Orioles that prevents them from using M&T Bank Stadium on Sept. 5. From Twitter Uh....who thought this was a good idea? As most of you insane NFL folks know, kickoff is but nearly a week away. With that in mind, we give you the marquee to your right, featuring last years Super Bowl MVP, Joe Flacco of the champs, the Baltimore Ravens. Problem with that: The...
