After playing corner for most of his final year as an Oakland Raider, Baltimore Ravens safety Michael Huff is excited to focus on lining up in the middle.
The Raiders were thin at the cornerback position in 2012.
After starters Ron Bartell and Shawntae Spencer were injured early in the season, the Raiders were forced to move the former first round pick up to the line. Huff held his own as a corner.
In fact, he was still the most reliable part of Oakland’s secondary aside from strong safety Tyvon Branch.
However, Huff is still a natural safety, and the experience he gained last year will make him better than ever.
