It’s very easy to draw the analogies between Denver Broncos starting quarterback Tim Tebow and Jesus Christ. For one, very few athletes in recent memory have been as publicly overt about their Christian faith as Tebow. Secondly, the flock of devotees (NFL football fans) who worship Tebow do so in a very religious “onward christian soldier” mentality.
Since there’s no true evidence to believe he’ll be a true star NFL QB, Tebow’s acolytes believe in him through faith. And we in the sports media have fun calling him St. Tebow, Jesus Tebow, Tim Christ etc. But now someone has actually skipped past metaphor or simile and actually gone literal with the comparison.
NFL Network’s Michael Irvin says that Tebow actually is God’s son. (Love the gangsta fresh suit by the way. Did you get it from the “Dick Tracy” movie set?)

Tim Tebow Show a smash hit
It wasn't pretty at first, but the Legend of Tim Tebow grew quite a bit in Miami as Tebow led the Broncos to an exciting come-from-behind win over the Dolphins.
Tim Tebow Leads Broncos to Big Fourth-Quarter Comeback, Overtime Victory Over Dolphins
Maybe the halftime ceremony that honored the 2008 national champion Florida Gators gave Tim Tebow a boost. Or maybe the second half is just "Tebow Time." The Broncos didn't get on the scoreboard until there was 2:44 remaining in the game. But after completing just three passes in the first half, Tim Tebow threw for two second-half touchdowns to force overtime and eventually...
Tebow 'Trolling'
A couple weeks ago when Tim Tebow was named the starter of the Denver Broncos, I wrote about why Tebow will never transcend into an NFL quarterback. Don’t want to believe me? Just click on the link a couple sentences back and take a read for yourself.
As it turns out, I’m not quite done yet. After his first start for the Broncos since last season, I’m not backing...
Tebow has rough start, but rallies Broncos over Dolphins (VIDEO)
Praise me! (Image via mockession.com)
Well, it wasn’t pretty, but after all the fanfare leading up to his first start of the season, Tim Tebow led the Broncos to an 18-15 OT win over the Miami Dolphins. After turning in one of the uglier 3+ quarters of football you’ll ever see from an NFL QB (in which he was 4-14 passing for 40 yards), Tebow stepped up when it mattered most with...
After disastrous start, Tebow leads Broncos to overtime victory
For 55 minutes of Sunday's game, Tim Tebow was more dud than savior. His Denver Broncos were down 15-0 to the winless Miami Dolphins and the quarterback's uneven play was a big reason why. And then he turned water into wine.
Facing a 15-point deficit on the road with the ball on his own 20-yard line, Tebow orchestrated a stunning fourth-quarter comeback, capped by a two-point...
That’s My Quarterback: Will T.O. Soon Shed Tears for Tebow?
On Tuesday, Terrell Owens will work out for NFL teams in hopes of soon landing a job offer. Despite the fact that Owens will turn 38 years old before the end of the 2011 season he has something that Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos badly need. Most would assume that with the recent departure of Brandon Lloyd, T.O.to the Broncos could make sense in order to help fill the void...
Double-Digit Spread? That's So Ravens: Week 8 Predictions
Joe Flacco stank up the scene on Monday Night and that's all anyone will remember from Week 7 besides Tim Tebow's "Miracle in Miami" and the resulting creation of Tebowing. The Ravens' dismal offense was actually not the worst offensive performance of the week. In fact, it wasn't even the worst offensive performance in the game! They scored around 16...
Broncos Rally Late To Top Dophins 18-15 In OT
Tim Tebow rallied the Denver Broncos for two touchdowns in the final 2:44 of the fourth quarter to force overtime, and Matt Praters 52-yard field goal gave them an improbable 18-15 victory Sunday over the stunned, winless Miami Dolphins. The Broncos appeared beaten when they trailed 15-0 with 5:23 left and took over at their 20. At that point Tebow was 4-for-14 for 40 yards but...

The New York Giants come out of a bye week in good shape, facing one three winless teams in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins.
The Fins led late but were bitten in the ass by former Gator Tim Tebow, who rallied his Broncos past Miami. The Dolphins are now 0-6 SU and ATS on the...
