Albert Breer of NFL.com is reporting, via a source, that Eagles QB Michael Vick's restructured one-year deal includes a $3.5 million signing bonus and a $3.5 million base salary.
He can earn up to $500,000 in roster bonuses, $1.5 million if he plays 90 percent of the snaps and $1 million if the Eagles win the Super Bowl (that Vick would need to play in to collect).
Not too shabby for a man with an uncertain future merely a week ago.
Breer also says the $3.5 million signing bonus replaces the $3 million guarantee Vick was due to get last week.
There is of course, the matter of getting the starting job to receive all of this incentive-laden money.
Head coach Chip Kelly says there will be an open competition for the starting job, presumably between Vick and Nick Foles, or maybe another mystery QB will enter the stage at some point.
