Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael VIck was officially benched a couple of weeks ago after suffering a serious concussion. It was clear that once Vick went down he wouldn’t be starting another game this season.  I think by he knows he won’t be with the Eagles next season as well. Vick says he has to accept his role as the Eagles’ third string quarterback for the final two games of the season. “I’m a competitor, and I’ve always felt like and will continue to feel like I’m one of the best and can play at a high level … I want to be out there,” Vick said, via the Philadelphia Daily News. “I want to play, but it’s just not the ideal situation right now. … I have to accept my role, accept it like a man, continue to find positives out of it.” Vick believes he has plenty of football left. “I have a lot of football left in me, a lot left in my tank … the future will take care of itself,” Vick said. I can’t believe that it was just a couple of years ago that Vick and the Eagles

Michael Vick opens up on his status and his future

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick is the most notable back-up in the NFL. He allegedly lost his spot due to a concussion but there have been conspiracy theorists that have stated that his injury just gave coach Andy Reid to pull the plug on a then-struggling Vick with dignity. The following Q&A was provided to Players View by the Eagles and it shines a lot of light on where...

Eagles QB Michael Vick Preparing To Move On From Eagles?

Eagles QB Michael Vick mentioned that his time as an Eagle may be coming to an end, but maintains that he still has “a lot of football left” in him, per Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Vick suffered a concussion mid-season and has been benched in favor of rookie QB Nick Foles in what has become a lost season for the team. Vick has played only nine games this season and...

Eagles head coach Andy Reid told reports that Michael Vick will be the team’s No. 3 quarterback for this weekend’s game against the Washington Redskins, per Jeff McLane. Vick end up with Jets? It wouldn't surprise me...

You know I'm scrambling for material when I make the future of a multiple-concussed Mike Vick the topic... No one knows for sure yet where Vick will play in 2013...or whether he will play at all. One thing's for sure---Vick wants to play quarterback, and he wants to start.           Vick is unlikely to return to the Eagles in 2013....

This week in “As The Jets Fly”, Vick will sign, if given lots of money

That’s right folks, soon to be former Philadelphia Eagle Mike Vick will have no problem signing with the New York/New Jersey Football Jets for the 2013-2014 season. But, there is one giant caveat: He wants to be paid more than current backup (and burgeoning male model) Mark Sanchez, and was the clear starter. To call [...]

Vick says he has to accept his role “like a man”

Michael Vick was officially benched a few weeks ago after suffering a serious concussion. It was clear that once Vick went down he wouldn’t be starting another game this season.  It seems quite obvious he won’t be with the Eagles next season, even if there are premium rewards card available here. Vick says he has…

Report: Michael Vick Could Sign With Jets If Mark Sanchez Is Traded

Don’t worry Patriots fans, you may still see your fair share of turnovers from the Jets’ quarterback position in 2013. Michael Vick is open to signing with the Jets if Mark Sanchez is moved, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Rex Ryan “loves” Vick, according to Mehta, so the courtship could have some legs. Sanchez has thrown 17 interceptions in 2012, while...

Report: Vick wants to be a starter in 2013, may wait to see where Chip Kelly lands

It’s obvious that Eagles quarterback Michael Vick won’t be in Philly next season. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Vick wants to be a starter in 2013 and doesn’t want to play for the Jets unless Mark Sanchez is gone or unless he’s making more money than Sanchez. Vick also may wait and see if Oregon head coach Chip kelly ends up bolting to the NFL.   Need NFL...

5 New York Jets quarterback rumors

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the future of quarterbacks Tim Tebow, Michael Vick, Alex Smith and Mark Sanchez. Two of which are currently on the New York Jets’ roster, one of those two most likely won’t be there in 2013 and the other two have been discussed as possible fits. No matter how you look at it, it doesn’t look like much will change moving forward...

Jets reportedly will try to trade Mark Sanchez, are interested in Vick

The New York Jets will attempt to trade quarterback Mark Sanchez after the season, the New York Daily News reported on Wednesday. The news comes a day after Sanchez was benched by the Jets in favor of Greg McElroy, a former seventh-round pick who entered the season as the team’s third-string quarterback. The Daily News report is somewhat surprising given the unwavering support...
