The Oakland Raiders have to find a quarterback for the future and to get the best stopgap option for the time being, but the high likelihood that Michael Vick will be released after the 2012 season means Michael Vick to Oakland Raiders in 2013 is a strong possibility. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Carson Palmer will lose his job as the stopgap, but Vick’s history with offensive coordinator Greg Knapp points toward a reunion between the two, next season. Knapp was the offensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons between 2004-06 and Knapp’s schemes fit Vick’s abilities nicely. Palmer was never a good fit for Greg Knapp’s scheme and it was evident the first snap in preseason action against the Dallas Cowboys where Palmer executed a boot leg that went nowhere.… Read more

  • I've been a fan of the Raiders ever since they were considering calling themselves the Oakland Senors. If this dog-killing POS becomes an Oakland Raider then I'm through supporting them. I hope they move back to LA. F them.
