Photo by Keith Allison Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan told the NFL Network that Robert Griffin III is going to set a record with his rehab from ACL surgery. “He’s over at the facility, rehabbing all of the time. He’ll set a record for coming back because that’s how hard he works,” Shanahan said, per ProFootballTalk.com. Shanahan says we’ll know where Griffin is at in July. “He is ahead, but there’s a process. It takes time. Robert will do it the right way and we’ll find out in July exactly where he’s at,” Shanahan said. “He will not come back until he’s 100 percent.” Shanahan says RG3 needs to learn how to slide. “When most people take a look and they take a look at Robert, they’re thinking, ‘Oh, you can’t run the option,’” Shanahan said. “People don’t realize that the option protects the quarterback. The thing I have to get with Robert is when to slide, when not to take a hit. These quarterbacks are so competitive but they don’t realize sometimes ho

We’ve already heard surgeons term RGIII as superhuman in the
progress he’s shown thus far. Now, his coach is heaping the praise on,
Robert Griffin III’s injured right knee is probably the most talked about reconstructed knee in the history of sports. It seems as if each week, we have a new prognosis that has very little to do with medical evidence, just opinions. The Washington Redskins PR machine has been in full gear ever since RGIII went down with tears to his ACL and LCL in the team’s playoff game...
The road to recovery is never easy, but in the case of Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, many are hyping it as downright elementary.
The surgeon who performed Griffin’s surgery, Dr. James Andrews, has already come out and described Griffin’s recovery has been superhuman. Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan seems to be sipping the same positive Kool Aid, because in a...
Robert Griffin III is rehabbing hard from his ACL surgery. If you let the people around him tell hit he’s having a super human recovery.

I am not a fan of the Washington Redskins or owner Daniel Snyder, but I have to applaud his resolve. For several years now, the Redskins franchise has been under attack by groups demanding that the club change the team name. It now appears that the politically correct police have come back for another round while assailing Snyder and forcing him to change the name of the team, he...

Seeing as Charles Woodson has no takers right now, and with the thought that he still has a few years left in the tank, should the Redskins kick the tires on him and put him at free safety? Woodson hasn’t garnered much attention in free agency, which to me is surprising. Maybe Woodson’s asking price is too much but that hasn’t been reported. “For the right price,” the Redskins...
