The Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Tennessee Titans 16-9 on Sunday in their most poorly played opener at Heinz Field. Making matters even worse, Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey, the man who is the glue of the Steelers'offensive line, tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee.

  • This game was just awful! The defensive line got blown off the ball. I just do not see any intensity as I have been accustomed to. I will always support my team, but after yesterday I just did not see anything to grow from. I was one that wanted Haley as the OC, but I think it is time to reevaluate. Give the reigns to Fichtner. I would fire Haley with that poor play calling,
  • I don't think it is realistic to expect a defense to hold as well as ours did with the disparity in time of possession. But to your point about Haley he seems like he is very poor at seeing the game and making adjustments. I mean 32 yards rushing and he continues plowing it away on first and second down. Here is what I would do, if the running backs can't pick up a block spread everyone out go into shot gun and let Ben work, if we are not efficient in the passing game you can't keep going run run pass. Plus what happened to an audible when there is a nine man front on first down. Lastly, I hope Tomlin is aware he can through the challenge flag or call a time out when a team is running to the line of scrimmage because a pass is more than likely incomplete. Two feet down and they have to maintain possession to the ground, instead of punting they maintained possession and scored. Plenty of blame to go around here, but I don't think we can point to the defense.
