Colbert Says Sylvester Will Compete With Foote For Buck LB Spot
I posted the other day about the questions at the BUCK linebacker spot now that James Farrior has been released, and how Larry Foote would be the obvious choice to succeed Farrior initially. Stevenson Sylvester, who I really think is better suited for the MACK linebacker position based on his limited playing time the last two seasons, will apparently get a shot to compete against...

Steelers’ Faith in Sylvester Could Effect Draft
Ever since he emerged in Training camp in 2010 I had a feeling Stevenson Sylvester could be another in a long line of All-Pro Steelers linebackers. Sylvester has the speed and skills to be a great interior linebacker. Following his junior year at Utah Sylvester was projected to go in the second roun Continue

Steelers hit compensatory jackpot, get three 7th rounders
One 7th-round compensatory pick would have been just fine for the Steelers but when the NFL announced who was getting what on Compensatory Day yesterday, the Steelers hit the jackpot by getting three extra picks in the final round of the Draft.
To be honest we have no idea how this whole compensatory thing works…probably because there’s no official rule book that we know of...
