The iconic statue of the fictitious Rocky Balboa was dressed a little different by visiting Vikings fans. James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

Okay, so maybe desecrate is kind of a strong word here. But for fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, it’s probably perfect. You see, Minnesota Vikings fans have descended on the City of Brotherly Love in a big way for the NFC Championship, and they’re seriously pumped.

Along with their “Skol” chanting, Vikings fans have also done something else that, if we’re being honest, could legit lead to some fisticuffs.

Check it out.

Yeah, that’s the city’s famous “Rocky” statue. And Vikings fans have covered it with a towel that features the jersey number of Stefon Diggs — hero of the Divisional Round — and Minnesota colors.

Diggs, as you remember, caught the game-winning touchdown last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints in one of the wildest plays we’ve ever seen in a playoff game. As a result of his miraculous play, the receiver vaulted up SNIPdaily’s rankings in a huge way, peaking at No. 1 on our NFL WR Top 40 rankings.

Will Diggs and the Vikings once again celebrate a miraculous win? Or will the Philly faithful find themselves shimmying up greased poles to celebrate the Eagles advancing to Super Bowl LII? We can’t wait to find out.
