The guy who former Browns president told us would have a big year last season has now agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars.   Mohamed Massaquoi and the Jaguars have come to terms to sign the wide receiver who spent more time injured than he did playing to a deal. last season Massaquoi only caught 17 passes after Holmgren told the fans in Cleveland “This is going to be Massaquoi’s year.” He has 254 yards reviving and played in only 9 games last season. Massaquoi dealt with hamstring and knee problems for much of the 2012 season. Massaquoi s one of those guys who couldn’t live up to the hype that surrounded him. he never was the same after taking a hit to the head by Pittsburgh’s James Harrison. he suffered multiple concussions in his career in Cleveland. He only made 43 starts since he began his career in 2009. It doesn’t seem as though Cleveland even offered him a deal to return to the team. There was a brief time when it looks like he could become one of Weeden’s favorite ...

One fan thinks the Cleveland Browns front office including Lombardi, has the mindset of an arsonist

One fan of the Cleveland Browns has the opinion that the Browns front office is working behind the scenes with the mindset of an arsonist. He sent in a comment that said, “why don’t you just burn the whole thing down.” Here at Cleveland Sports 360 we write articles that are based on some of the thoughts that come in from Browns fans. We think it is important to publish fans...

Ground hog day: Browns deep housecleaning again

Since 1999 and the rebirth of the Cleveland Browns, the road has been more bumps than smooth pavement. New management in CEO Joe Banner and GM Mike Lombardi has brought some hope to the team, but it seems like the same song playing over again. However, once again the Browns are gutting the old model in order to start a new one, kind of like ground hog day. A repeat of what already...

This NFL free agent class was “one of the worst”

The Cleveland Browns struck quickly in free agency with Desmond Bryant and Paul Kruger before executing some more conservative signings, presumably for depth. Of course as they continue to cut players like Usama Young and Chris Gocong loose, many fans wonder if the Browns were too conservative in their free agency signings with holes all over the field still. If you believe respected...

Cleveland Browns Mock Draft: Building around Brandon Weeden

The 2013 NFL Draft is just 24 days away, and teams are finalizing their draft board over the next few weeks. One of the major questions heading into this draft is how high Geno Smith will go and where will the rest of the quarterbacks fall. As a whole, this draft isn’t a strong class unless of course you need some defensive or offensive line help, other than that you might want...

Ryan O’Halloran reports that the Jaguars have signed WR Mohamed Massaquoi. Aaron Wilson reports that Massaquoi receives a two-year deal. Last year, he tallied 17 receptions for 254 yards and no touchdowns in nine games for...

A serious question for Cleveland Browns fans. Did Joe Banner get rid of Chris Gocong for personal reasons

Joe Banner the man who used to run another NFL team has a long history of being a ruthless business man. When he was hired to become the CEO of the Cleveland Browns, the fans in Cleveland really didn’t have much of an idea of what to expect. Now that Banner has had the axe dropped on Chris Gocong for the second time in his NFL career, we are left to wonder if Banner has any personal...

The Cleveland Browns moving to a 3-4 defense, does it make sense to cut linebackers?

Written By: Tim F from North Olmsted   There are many comments floating around about the Browns.  I figure I might as well add mine… for what they are worth. The release of Chris Gocong may be a football decision or a personal one.  I noticed, as many of you have I’m sure, that Chris was traded from the Eagles to the Browns.  The thought here is maybe Mr. Banner did not see...

Jacksonville Jaguars Sign WR Mohamed Massaquoi

The Jacksonville Jaguars know any success they have as an offense will be defined by how well they pass the ball.  Blaine Gabbert will never fully be successful if he has nothing to throw to. The Jaguars who are trying to add depth to the duo of Cecil Short and Justin Blackmon, agreed to terms on a two-year deal with former Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi according to Jaguars...
