Will the Philadelphia Eagles release or trade cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha over the course of the next few days? Asomugha, who is scheduled to earn a base salary in 2013 of $15 million, could potentially be free agent competition for Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Keenan Lewis if he winds up being released.
The 31 year-old Asomugha was a three-time Pro Bowler with the Oakland Raiders, but his time with the Eagles certainly wasn't memorable. Although he is more decorated than Lewis, he is also four years older than him.
