Chargers Melvin Ingram is likely out for the entire 2013 NFL season after it was announced today he tore his ACL (Credit: RockTheBolt.com) The 18th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Melvin Ingram is likely out for the 2013 NFL season after tearing his ACL today. Ingram, who played in all sixteen games last year recorded 41 tackles, 1 sack and a forced fumble. Now, it appears as he may not have a chance to improve on his disappointing rookie season. Right now it is not clear how Ingram tore his ACL. The Chargers were relying on Ingram to help improve the team’s 16th ranked defense (points per game). It is also not clear where the Chargers will go from here if Ingram has to sit out for the entire season.
