Sure, New England quarterback Tom Brady may not be competing along with his teammates in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 after losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, but you probably shouldn’t bother shedding a tear for the guy. Remember, first of all, he’s married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen, which, when you think about it, ain’t a bad gig if you can get it for beginners. He also has three kids and is living an overall pretty sweet life. Make that a phenomenally sweet life, and that was before construction on the Brady family’s new compound in Los Angeles reached completion.

Taking three years to build and with overall construction costs reportedly in the realm of a $20 million, the 22,000 square-foot home features all the amenities a mega-rich superstar could ever desire…and then some.

Yeah, it’s got a moat.

Even though everything after a moat is pretty much gravy, the luxurious grounds also include a resort-like pool, a custom play area for the couple’s three kids, among other extravagant features I dare not imagine and likely could never comprehend.

Yeah, it’s good to be Tom Brady. His house has a moat. Not sure why a moat is necessary, but it is a grand indulgence and pretty awesome.

  • I could care less how much he spends on his home or if it has a moat. It's his money, he's earned it, he can spend it as he sees fit.
As far as Brady himself, I think he is a superstar that is a quality individual. That he has a great life makes me say kudos to him. I'd love to swith places with him, but I don't begrudge him any of his success (again, he's earned it). And I'm not even a Patriots fan....
  • Anything with Giselle in it is filthy sweet
  • I am sure that his wife chipped in also
  • Ummm yeah that's an understatement. Gisele makes three times what Tom makes.
  • I can't believe how many people write "could care less" on these comment sections...it's "couldn't care less"...sheesh!!
  • JEESSH, I thought that I was the only one who gets irritated with I COULD CARE LESS, If you could care less, it means that you care, somewhat. IF you COULDN'T care less, it means you do not give a darn.
  • Such a big New England guy - built a house in LA? Really? What a schmuck.
  • He's from CA, and his oldest son lives in LA
  • he is a Californian (he only plays football in New England, you moron). And his wife works in LA! deal with it
  • The moat was necessary to ward off Raven attacks.
  • He sucks as much as Rex Ryan in my book!!
  • Go home to your tool shed Jax666
  • Tom Brady probably has a Mirror in every room so he can swoon over himself. lol. Give me a break.
  • Jealousy will get you nowhere
  • He divorced his wife who stuck with him through thick and then then married a Supermodel. What a nice guy. Not.
  • Tom was never married to Bridget Moynahan, he dated her for a while. He is a class act and a very nice guy. Do not judge people on what you read in the tabloids idiot.
  • I didn't see a moat. It's probably just a rain-runoff area. Too bad he has to live in California though. Taxes are ridiculous there. Ask Phil Mickelson.
  • The guy has money, he has earned it. He is from California and his son lives there and his wife works there. Why not. Let me see, winter in Southern California or winter in Mass. I know what I would do.
  • HOWS HE GOING TO PAY THE TAXES ON THAT PLACE WHEN HIS FOOTBALL DAYS ARE OVER
  • Maybe with the money he & his wife earned. DUH
  • You said all that to be saying what?
How much did it cost him for this article?

Pal: no one gives a Sh!t was he does or have,
only what he does on the football field.

When that Supermodel, Gisele Bundchen finds a real man
she will catch the elevator and Tom will get the shaft.
  • OK, he earned the money and he can have his house. The taxes are going to be more than my house payment so I don't have to worry about it. Giselle? I think she looks hard - not that pretty. But then there's my wife, so I guess that's the normal guy life.
  • vomitus projectus!
  • You guys seem to forget she makes more money than he does. Their grandchildren won't spend the money they have.

Tom Brady told Ed Reed he's sorry for kicking him

This one little play has certainly gotten a lot of attention. With the final seconds of the second quarter counting down, Tom Brady scrambled, was surrounded by defenders, and then slid awkwardly with his leg going right for Reed's, umm, leg. The Patriots went on to kick a field goal while the Ravens went on to win the game. Apparently that wasn't good enough for some of...
