PLAYERS: Ray Lewis
TEAMS: Baltimore Ravens

Via Larry Brown Sports:

Sunday night was a special night for Baltimore Ravens fans, many of who filled the streets of Baltimore to celebrate their team’s Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers. As if winning a championship isn’t thrilling enough, one fan was captured on camera making the celebration an even more memorable experience.

As you can see at the 38-second mark of the video above that was posted on Reddit, a fan was recording some of the festivities when he came across a man who was down on one knee proposing to his girlfriend. Judging by her reaction, it’s safe to say the answer was yes.

My question is this: was this dude proposing after the game win or lose? I’m guessing he had some sort of alternate proposal plan in place. If his girlfriend is a big Ravens fan and he asked her to marry him after a Super Bowl loss, there’s a good chance he would have ended up like this guy.

Ray Lewis does his dance during celebration

There was no perfect time for Ray Lewis to do another final dance then at M&T Bank Stadium during the Super Bowl Parade.  Lewis got the perfect send off to end his career with a Super Bowl victory and he will certainly enjoy it.  Something tells me though that Lewis will continue doing this dance any chance he gets, even on air if he ends up working for ESPN as an Analyst.Lewis...

Ravens to erect statue of Ray Lewis

Ray Lewis' playing days may be over, but his image will very literally remain close to home. Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti said Thursday that the team will build a statue for the future first ballot Hall of Famer. Bisciotti is unclear where the statue will be erected -- there's already one of Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas outside M&T Bank Stadium -- but confirmed it...

Now if you are not a fan of Lewis and the Ravens, and trust me there are many who are not, this is still a GIF for you as well. Look at the cup half full this is probably the last time you will see Lewis perform his squirrel dance. Lewis ended the Super Bowl Parade performing his traditional dance at the...

Baltimore Cop Does Ray Lewis Squirrel Dance

Right after the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl, a fan captured a female cop outside of an unnamed bar doing Ray Lewis’ famous “squirrel dance.” It’s a pretty weak version of the dance, but we’ll give her an A for effort. She should’ve taken notes from Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. [BustedCoverage] var conf_58641 = { APIKey: '2_N1YlfjHIEAtyRAK3CAYRE5a1aBuANuMOCLc_7hsOQ1...

Ray Lewis’ imaginary deer-antler scandal

Joe Ray Was Ray Lewis the victim of an imaginary steroid scandal? (Credit: AP Photo) The Manti Te’o hoax was one of the top sports stories of 2012.
