Via Sports-Glory:

Former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Trevor Pryce thought linebacker Ray Lewis played nervous and didn't help the team much in the Ravens' 34-31 Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Pryce told Jim Rome on his radio program Monday that Lewis doesn't deserve much credit for the Ravens' victory on Sunday, and says the 17-year NFL veteran only helped his team emotionally.
“Half of his playoff check should go to Dannell Ellerbe for making that last play on that last fade route,” said Pryce. “The other half to Greg Roman the 49ers offensive coordinator.”
Pryce added: “I think he played with a case of the nerves. I think he had the yips. I really do."
Pryce played 4-plus seasons with Lewis in Baltimore, and says he didn't even recognize Lewis on the field.
“He had it bad; he didn’t look like himself, even his new self. Forget his old self, that guy’s gone, that guy’s named Patrick Willis,” Pryce said. “But even the guy he was last week, he wasn’t that guy. He had a case of it bad, badly. It was almost like he was just hoping let’s get this over with.”
Lewis finished the game with seven total tackles, four of them solo.

Sure didn't hear his name mention on many plays. Didn't seem to be his best game of the season.

Feeling a little left out, Trevor?....leave it to a hack like Rome to give you your 15 seconds of piggy back fame!!!...Them can can do, them that can't teach, and them that can't do either...I guess they just try to interject themselves however they can into a situation they know nothing about...What's the matter Rome???? couldn't find any ex-Atlanta Cops to interview?????

WHO CARES!!! SUPERBOWL IS OVER!!!

BEING A HATER IS SUCH AN UGLY TRAIT! I DIDN'T SEE YOU AT THE PARADE TODAY! BUT I DID SEE RAY LEWIS. SO STOP DRINKING HATER-ADE AND GROW UP!
-
So what. People give it a rest - - leave Ray Lewis alone. I am just sick of people riding this guy.
-
Wow...Haters have no shame...they just hate you got what they can't...Wow

Stupid comments by an obviously jealous man!

It's funny how black ball players are always excused when they committe a crime. They turn to God and get a blessing from Al sharpton or Jessie Jackson. Jackson couldn't talk his son out jail the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
-
What are you talking about ? He wasn't convicted of a crime. Everyone who is accused is not guilty and everyone who has never been accused is not innocent. Besides if you want to discuss the issue of crime in athletics it's not the race of the athlete that is the issue.. it's the fact that athletes are taught that they exist above the rules and are better than the people around them, but clearly you wouldn't realize that since you only see skin color and not talent.

There you are. My racist trailer park trash guy. You are an unrefined, ignorant, useless, inbred idiot. Wait a minute. I smell something. Is that you?

Ray rides off in the sunset with a big diamond ring and a shiny trophy and all they can do is critique his last game like he is a rookie. Sad.
-
Trevor Price has the knowledge and experience to speak out he had 2 superbowl rings on his hand before the game started and Ray's on field stats weren't anything to brag about. Trevor was being honest.
-
Didn't see malice in this story,he gave Lewis the emotional credit for Ray's last magic carpet ride. Other articles attributed the wins to Ray's return---Trevor just clarified why. Wish the sportscasters would interview the guys with the big plays that made the difference like they do with other Teams but not with Baltimore ---it is always Ray.
