Joe Flacco is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and on Saturday he proved to the pundits that he can win big playoff games - at least according to his agent. Flacco showed some guts against the Denver Broncos and made huge throws while outplaying future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning on his home field.

Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens will talk contract after the season, but as Flacco’s agent Joe Linta told Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, he is worth every elite dime he is going to seek.

”He’s a top-five guy, if not better. … If you don’t think that’s an elite guy, then you’re crazy,” he said. “The guy has won 54 (regular-season) games; (the) guy is eventually going to get respect. The great thing about Joe is he doesn’t care.”

Translation: Joe Flacco is about to get paid.

  • Thats Mr. Flacco to you. Ive had to sit here and watch pundit after talking head try to tell me Vick is better or RG3 is better or that he doenst hold a candle to Manning. Hello people, Flacco did it, Manning did not. Nothing against Peyton, he's a hall of famer but in cold weather I dont think he does too well. Joe Flacco just went out and beat the odds, the weather, and a team that was on a roll. And it was an away game. Now maybe these idiots will shut up and let people play.

This one’s for Joe: Flacco vindicated

Going into the AFC Divisional match up against the juggernaut Denver Broncos with future first ballot Hall of Fame Quarterback Peyton Manning at the helm, no one gave the Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco much hope. ESPN famously (for Ravens fans) put a cover on their website saying that retiring LB Ray Lewis’ “last game would be in Denver”. The odds on the game were heavily...

Ravens shock Broncos in double overtime

If this was just a semi-final game, what will the AFC championship game be like? The Baltimore Ravens improbable double-overtime win at the heavily-favored Denver Broncos  has everyone talking this morning. Was it Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco’s 70-yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Jones, with 30 seconds left in regulation to tie the game? Was it Denver’s Trindon Holliday returning...

Joe Flacco Targeting A Massive Contract Following Postseason Success?

The Baltimore Ravens took gamble by allowing QB Joe Flacco to enter the final year of his rookie deal. Their cap situation almost certainly played into their decision, but they still ran the risk that Flacco could justify his asking price or even surpass that figure based on his play in 2012. Saturday’s performance against the Broncos will clearly help his chances of securing...

Joe Flacco finds Jacoby Jones for game-tying touchdown in Ravens/Broncos divisional playoff game (Video)

With less than one minute to play in the AFC Divisonal playoff game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos, it appeared that the one-seeded Broncos were getting ready to host the New England Patriots up by the score of 35-27. All that soon changed after Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco found Jacoby Jones for a 70-yard touchdown reception that ultimately sent the game...

Fearsome Ravens Sobs — KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

Vote: Which Ravens Weapon Poses the Biggest Threat to the Patriots’ Defense?

As the Patriots experienced firsthand back in Week 3, this year’s Baltimore Ravens do not rely solely on suffocating defense. This squad can light up the scoreboard as well. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had his way with the New England secondary in a 31-30 victory on Sept. 23, throwing for a season-high 389 yards and three touchdowns, while Pro Bowler Ray Rice gashed the Pats...

Crazy Playoff Weekend Wrap Up

3rd and 3, under 40 seconds to go with the clock ticking, and no timeouts left in a 35-28 game. Oh, and only 70 yards to go for the game-tying score. Joe Flacco needed a miracle to propel the Ravens into overtime on the road in Denver in a game that most people predicted a [...]

NFL Playoffs: Saturday's Divisional Round Prediction: Ravens-Broncos

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos  The Broncos are the favorites in this one, not only because of their record but also because they have a decided advantage at home.  The Broncos are 7-1 at home and the Ravens haven been mediocre on the road as their 4-4 record indicates.  What is worse for the Ravens is that Joe Flacco's quarterback rating drops nearly 25 points when he...

Ravens win double-overtime thriller in Denver

With Tebow nowhere in sight, it was Ravens defensive captain Ray Lewis this time preaching to viewers that “nothing is impossible with God.” Joe Flacco stripped the annoying monkey off his back (again) and orchestrated his offense (near-flawlessly) versus a defense that ranked 3rd against the pass (199.6 ypg). Without fear, he catapulted touchdowns, to Jacoby Jones (1) and Torrey...

Ravens still standing after double-OT battle with Broncos

DENVER -- In a game filled with dramatic swings, Justin Tucker delivered the finishing touch and Joe Flacco used his arm to find an answer to every challenge. Tucker kicked a 47-yard field goal with 13:18 left in the second overtime, capping a remarkable last-ditch comeback led by Flacco as the Baltimore Ravens ousted the top-seeded Denver Broncos 38-35 in a divisional playoff...

Peyton Manning throws OT pick, dooms Broncos

It was supposed to be an easy day for the Denver Broncos by all accounts, but the Baltimore went toe to toe, tit for tat with them throughout, and in the first overtime period, Peyton Manning rolled out in Brett Favre like fashion and threw the interception that eventually set up Justin Tucker's 47-yard game winning field goal in double OT. Ray Lewis lives to see another...
