Marcus Vick stirred up a controversy on Twitter, and again he’s trying to use the excuse that he was hacked.

Marcus Vick, who is the younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick, offered a $1,000 bounty to a defensive player to light up Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper with a hit. Cooper drew headlines on Wednesday when video emerged of him using a despicable racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert.

After Marcus’ comments went viral, he tried to backtrack.

“My page was hacked!” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Not even the biggest Vick fan in the world was buying that line. But then Vick said he was going to delete his Twitter:

Vick hasn’t deleted his account yet, but he should probably consider it. After all, look at all the times it’s gotten him in trouble:

Ban College Football? Compare it to Dog-Fighting? Are You Crazy?

There is actually a guy out there that thinks college football should be banned. To illustrate his point he compares the game to dog-fighting (I'm sure Michael Vick's past had nothing to do with that) in that the game is just as brutal (just not to the death). A writer for the New Yorker has bee trying to make the case. Call it a hunch, but I do't think he'll get...

Is Miguel Cabrera this generation’s Hank Aaron?

On June 20, 2003, Miguel Cabrera struck out in his first big league at bat.  He’d get the last laugh however. In the bottom of the eleventh inning the 20-year-old rookie hit a two-run home run to help his then-Florida Marlins to a 3-1 victory over the then-Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Now, I bring that up only to awkwardly segue into this. Friday, the reigning American League MVP turned...
