KARE11 TV reporter Lee Valsvik was knocked over while doing a live shot at a Minneapolis restaurant in advance of Saturday night’s playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers.

The TV crew wore Vikings gear. They decided to run a play right in the restaurant.

Valsvik took a hard hit and ended up on the floor. Fortunately, she wasn’t hurt.

Now if only the Vikings had actually played that way.

Perhaps they wouldn’t have lost 24-10 to the Packers.

Vikings Playoff loss proves unimportance of the RB in the NFL

The Minnesota Vikings were soundly defeated by the Green Bay Packers 10-24 and the biggest truth the game proved is the continued decline of the value of franchise running backs in the NFL. Adrian Peterson was the biggest story going into the game, because he was only 9 yards shy of breaking Eric Dickerson’s single season record with 2,097 yards after coming back from major knee...

Green Bay Packers Overwhelm Joe Webb, Minnesota Vikings

The Green Bay Packers washed the taste of last year's first-round elimination out of their mouths with a convincing win over the Vikings, who were forced to play behind inexperienced back-up QB Joe Webb

Charles Woodson: "our main focus was to keep 28 from getting off"

Charles Woodson isn't talking rocket science, it was simple to him and his defensive teammates, stop Adrian Peterson. In basketball, it's the box and 1, for baseball it's the intentional walk, and in football it's 8 men in the box. Great players demand special attention, and Saturday night the Green Packers defense which had been torched in two regular season games...

Christian Ponder Shows Picture of Arm “deep tricep bruise”

Joe Webb got the start for the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday against the Packers.  Webb didn't do very well.  The Vikings lost to the Packers 24-10, and couldn't move the ball in the air at all. The normal starting quarterback Christian Ponder had a “deep tricep bruise” that kept him out of the game.  Check out the picture above and you will know the reason for him...

Aaron Rodgers dissatisfied with offense’s performance

The Green Bay Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 in Saturday’s NFC Wild Card playoff game and never really struggled. Though the Packers won the game easily, quarterback Aaron Rodgers seemed dissatisfied with the team’s offensive performance. “Our defense played at a championship level — which you have to have in the postseason,” Rodgers told NBC Sports’ Michele...

Elbow sidelines Ponder against Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is inactive for Saturday night's playoff game at Green Bay, unable to get over the sore right elbow he hurt in last week's regular-season finale against the Packers. Joe Webb will start for Minnesota. NBC first reported the news on its broadcast of Saturday's earlier playoff game between the Cincinnati Bengals...

After 14 years, Winfield not done yet

Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield just finished his 14th season in the NFL, but he has no plans on retirement just yet.

Notebook: Rodgers’ mobility a Pack advantage

The Packers were able to keep drives alive with a short passing game and Aaron Rodgers extending plays. In the minds of Vikings defenders, that was a major difference-maker.

The irony of this, is that it wasn’t like AP needed 80 yards and only got 71 yards. He needed 208 yards and got 199, so it isn’t like the Packers defense did anything to stop him, he just ran out of time. We will see if the Packers can hold AP under 200 as boldly (not really) predicted by Clay Matthews.

NFL totally drops the ball regarding Ray Rice suspension

When videos surfaced of Baltimore Ravens’ running back dragging his then unconscious girlfriend out of a hotel elevator back in February, common logic suggested that he would be facing a rather hefty suspension if said situation was proven to include assault.  One month later, Rice was charged with aggravated assault stemming from the incident.
