Not everyone in and around the NFL was impressed with the Ray Lewis lovefest that went on in Baltimore and in TV studios everywhere on Sunday afternoon. The future Hall of Famer, who announced his pending retirement just days before the Ravens hosted the Colts in a wild card round game, was the life of the party on Sunday in Baltimore with tributes left and right honoring Lewis. His famous “squirrel dance” made an appearance not once (in its customary pregame introduction), but yet again following the end of the game on the field after the final play. At least one member of the Colts took issue with that, as Lewis’ second squirrel dance has Indianapolis wide receiver Reggie Wayne pretty cheesed off.

  • He is a typical Baltimore low class scum bag. Did you expect any respect from him? It's Baltimore!!!!
  • You sound like a hater. There was nothing wrong with the dance. The Colts player is mad because they got beat. If you didn't like it, he should have done something about it. He sounds like a sissy if you ask me. Whining!!!!!!!!!!
  • Totally agree with you!
  • he sounds like a lil b@&$#
  • He did it after the kneel down of a game that was over you moron. Why was it disrespectful?... he was giving the fans what they wanted. If the game was in Indianapolis I can guarantee you he would not have done the dance except to fire his team up when they took the field. You obviously never played sports johnws1 so just shut your pie hole.
  • John you are hater too! Probably a redneck!
  • It's sad that a grown man acts like a fool - but you know what they say.. You can take the boy out of the jungle, you can't take the jungle out of the boy.....
  • You obviously still live in the stone age, hopefully dinosaurs like you will become extinct soon.
  • Huh!!!
  • Your an idiot. I bet you belong to PETA and are a vegan.
  • Hater!!!
  • Jungle....you racist pig. 16-17 seasons; show some respect you low-class citizen!
  • Ray Lewis is a "killer" linebacker.
  • shut the hell up!
  • Sounds like sour grapes to me. @johnws1, how can you call one of the top defensive players in the league a low class scum bum. You must have a team with perfect players, who never did anything wrong, not even jaywalked. No, I am not a Baltimore Raven fan, either. I'm from NC where my team is the Panthers 1st, then Washington. You put down a whole city, by saying what can you expect from Baltimore. Fellow get a life and get over it. YOU TOO, REGGIE WAYNE!!!!!!!!!!1
  • Ya, everyone forgets this guy was involved in a murder and threw his body guard under the bus for it.
  • He was NERVER found guilty of ANYTHING Ass Hole. If he was guilty of anything it was not choosing to be a snitch. Marcus Allen was well aware OJ butchered his wife and Ron Goldman but refused to testify against the murderer. Damn, I hate stupid people.
  • He was indeed found guilty of "obstruction of justice" pled down from double murder and paid a $250K fine!! I hate stupid people too!!
  • I meant HE was not found guilty of MURDERING anyone. Too hard for you to understand dumbass?!
  • Reggie who?? Yawn...
  • It was disrespectful...hopefully that stupid dance will now be "retired" for good...
  • WHO ARE YOU!!!! We was on our turf...How you going to BITCH and complain...if he wanted to electric slide it was our time to shine.
  • Wow. Disrespectful would have been if he ignored the 1700 plus fans that were chanting "WE WANT RAY" and “THANK YOU RAY” I think Reggie Wayne was first mad the Colts lost and also jealous of the fact he will never have that many FANS cheering for him.
  • Wow, what a bunch of salty people. Disrespectful would have been if he ignored the 1700 plus fans that were chanting "WE WANT RAY" and “THANK YOU RAY” I think Reggie Wayne was first mad they lost and also jealous of the fact he will never have that many FANS cheering for him.
  • Lighten up, Reggie. You're a friggin football player not Mother Teresa - how much respect do you think you deserve?
  • Yeah i agree. Just shut up Reggie and let the man retire with grace.
  • Ray Lewis has never had ANY grace or class!! Why would anyone expect that to change with his retirement?!?
  • How was the dance disrespectful and to whom? What is disrespectful is when players celebrate a tackle for a loss of yards, but they are down by 24 points.
  • No not disrespectful at all knowing this is the last time that he will play football at the stadium of the team that drafted him and the fans that loved him that was his gift to his fans and we loved it like he loved his fans in Baltimore. Dang Reggie do not be hating your alum you both went to the same college maybe not at the same time but dang I sure hope you did not pledge for any fraternity you would have been kicked off the line like the Ravens kicked the Colts bleeeeeeeep
  • Im from baltimore Hey Ray Lewis thanks for the memories theres only one Best wishes for whatever comes next in life Ray
  • Bmore in the bldg! The better team won and that whats up. It what it is! John along with Reggie W. Ya'll sounds like chumps! Bet Ya'll got skeletons in y'all closet to as well. Hell we all do we human!!!!duh
  • Ray Lewis kicks ass. The only reason Reggie is pissed is because he and his team got their asses handed to them. Ray has always done his dance. And he did it during the game as well-right on top of the Colts offense. Rock on Ray. Today's NFL wants the celebratory stuff. T.O. used to mock the dance. Well, who's still playing? Not T.O.
  • the word hater... lmao another lil tantrum kid word in society ... showing how stupid ppl in society really are to use such lingo blingo.
  • OMG...looks like someone is a little puzzy and cryin' like a big baby cuz they lost. Reggie wishes he had the fans Ray has. Ray lewis's career makes Reggie's look like a pop warner bench warmer. Reggie couldn't come close to fillin' Ray's jock strap. This is part of Ray's curtain call that he deservingly earned. Sit down, shut up and just watch the greatest show on earth. One day Reggie can tell his grandkids that he played against the best and lost...
  • Lewis is a criminal like Vick and the rest of his ilk. 2 million in American prisons, 800,000 are black. Enough said.
  • grow up
  • Actually there are more black men in college then in prison sweetie...maybe prison is where you need to be so they can make a fruit cake out of you...hahaha..gotta love racism...guess i'm a criminal too because i'm black and very very successful...now shut up bend over loser!!!!lmao
  • He would have done the dance even if they lossed!!
and if sissy wayne won then he would have smiled and shook hands with ray and congratulated him on his illustrious career....right????
quit crying wayne...."his" name should be lil wayne cuz hes a lil baby...lmao

Colts, Ravens in scoreless tie at end of first quarter

The Ravens’ defense has played well with Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata and Ed Reed all playing together for the first time this season. However, they’ve gotten little help from the offense.
