Via Los That Sports Blog:

The debate over which quarterback would win the Associated Press Rookie of the Year award in the NFL is now over, with the Redskins’ Robert Griffin III taking home the honors.
RGIII finished the season with 3,200 yards passing and 20 touchdown passes to only five interceptions. He also rushed for 815 yards and seven touchdowns.
According to the Washington Post article, RGIII finished with 29 of the 50 votes from national media members. Andrew Luck finished with 11 and Russell Wilson finished with 10.
Right after the news was announced, Adidas, whom Griffin has a contract with, announced via Twitter that they would be releasing special edition socks to celebrate their signee’s award.
For any other athlete, special edition socks would seem a bit silly. But for RGII, the man who wore Superman socks to the Heisman Trophy presentation and has publicly worn other unique pairs, the new socks seem perfectly appropriate.
