If you think Patriots running back Danny Woodhead looks small out there on the gridiron, just imagine a football player standing next to him that's almost an entire foot shorter.

Rice football's walk-on Jayson Carterat 4-foot-9, 130-pounds, is 11 inches shorter than the 5-foot-8 Woodhead.

"All of my life I went against guys that are at least 70 pounds heavier than I am," Carter told Fox's Houston affiliate. "So it's nothing I'm not used to.

"When they see me they're like, 'whoa what's going on.' That gives me the upper hand."

  • If talking SHORT end of the stick,I bet the same is with his paycheck, but wait thats a lie because millions of dollars flow and fly with sports spectacles, and you know its a sight when all along the light shadows a man or a woman with large people telling stories to a SHORT crowd, and not finish the story but coming up SHORT, while living large, and not living up to expectancy but burning like a SHORTed out wire. You see players got to eat and it seems as though SHORT cake is a favorite, but even in old days Mommas got SHORTening, SHORTening, Mammas little baby like SHORTening bread, so rest your head on the fact that no matter how tall or SHORT in height, million dollar babies wont be SHORT on cash, but not Johnny because he was tall, but does it really matter in this day and age of the sports revolution?

The agent for ex-Patriots CB Leigh Bodden says he’s healthy and ready to help

He had been hobbled by a groin injury, but it doesn’t sound like Keels believes...
