From The Nosebleeds:

The image above is a screengrab taken from the Giants' website (via @MikeGiardi) on Saturday afternoon. It has already been taken down and I'm sure some Giants employee got a very loud earful for it, but this combined with all the chirping NYG players have been doing this week might turn out to be a very bad omen for the G-Men on Sunday.

  • nobody got an earful, they are preparing for the event they win the game. I'll bet you they also have one just in case they lose also. I don't know how long it was up for but I'm guessing you just happened to go on the site while they were testing it. Good sneak peak though!
  • absolutely
  • You can tell who the journa... blogger is rooting for.

Otherwise he would have said it could have been a premonition.
  • They had the graphic ready in case they won, someone accidentally put it on the main page instead of storing it to pop up later. No big deal.
  • The G Pack didn't want it and had a family tragedy they were dealing with.
so we will have to go for the little g from jersey on this one, I mean could anyone even possibly like those even dirtier patsies? go jersey shore little g's.
Aaron Rodgers MVP in a landslide, as if there was ever a question or a contest.
  • No way -- either Eli Manning as sole MVP or Manning & Drew Brees as co-MVPs.
  • BUT God Forbid the Patriots did that. Holy smokes, all Brady said at a pep rally in New England last week was that they hope to have a big party this weekend. Not they WILL, they HOPE. New Yorkers hopped on that and accused Brady of being everything from arrogant to lofty. Now its "no big deal"? Really??

    Go Patriots.
  • Pretty arrogant and lofty of the Giants. Cocky to be sure.
  • Carma is a bitch...

But it goes both ways too...

Boothe gaffes don’t ‘hold’ so costly in the long run

INDIANAPOLIS — In another scenario, Kevin Boothe could have been one of the scapegoats for the Giants had they not pulled out last night’s 21-17 victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Boothe did not drop a huge pass, blow a big tackle or miss a key field goal...

Instant analysis: Giants hold on to beat Patriots, Ravens ask 'What if?'

Matt Vensel, Sports Blitz : A fun game down to the whistle, this one was eerily reminiscent of the last times these teams met in the Super Bowl. Eli Manning -- who said before the season the he was elite and lived up to it -- was so cool down the stretch and the Giants put enough heat on Tom Brady to seal the win. Can you believe Eli has more titles than Peyton and one fewer than...
