I have tried to stay out of the discussion about the potential NFL work stoppage, because to be quite frank a group of billionaires and a group of millionaires arguing over money doesn’t interest me. But this morning on my drive into work, former NFL standout center and now President of the NFL Players Association was on there pleading the case of the players in this whole debacle and it really rubbed me the wrong way.
Does Mawae really think that coming on ESPN radio and pandering to fans with this “woe is me” attitude about NFL players like they are somehow going to be destitute if they have this stoppage or that playing an extra 2 games is somehow cruel and unusual punishment. Give me a break. But that wasn’t enough for him.
