Nate Kaeding was diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the regular season with the injury. This means that the Chargers are now in the running for a new kicker. Tough blow for the special teams for the Chargers as Kaeding is one of the best kickers in the league.
I don’t think this will hurt the Chargers TOO bad, but replacing a stud is not easy. If they can get someone serviceable, it’ll be a lot easier to deal. I expect the Chargers to bounce back from this and once again contend in the AFC under Phillip Rivers.
