Chinedum Ndukwe, who has spent most of the offseason rehabbing in Arizona, was back in the area this weekend as he hosted his foundation’s second Youth Wellness Camp at the Mount Auburn Community & Recreation Center. “Its been a great day of giving back,” Ndukwe said. “The foundation grows bigger every day. Regardless if I’m playing here or not, I’m going to continue to have an impact in the community.” Ndukwe also got to see plenty of teammates on Saturday as Leon Hall, Morgan Trent, Clark Harris, Rico Murray and Domata Peko volunteered their time. Ndukwe continues to make progress from surgery after he tore the medial collateral ligament in his left knee during the first half of the Dec. 12 loss at Pittsburgh. He wasn’t walking with a limp and there was hardly any swelling on Saturday. Whether it is enough to persuade the Bengals to re-sign him remains to be seen.
