Common football wisdom dictates that every team would like to have a big, strong, red zone target like Calvin Johnson or Anquan Boldin who can beat press coverage at the line, jump up and get the ball while outmuscling defensive backs. There is another very effective way to throw the ball in the red zone, though, even if you have a diminutive wide receiver like Wes Welker: the stacked receiver formation. After studying New England Patriots past game film, you can see they do a great job of using the stacked receiver formation to best utilize the strengths of their undersized, yet extremely quick receivers.   The post New England Patriots Film Study: Stacked Receivers in the Red Zone appeared first on The Football Juice.

Welker bolted New England for Denver because of hair transplant says doctor

Don't blame Wes Welker's departure from the New England Patriots to the Denver Broncos on his agents says a hair transplant expert.  Blame it on the NFL star's new luscious locks. Patriots Address Wide Receiver Need With Anquan Boldin Clone in NFL Mock Draft 11

The Chiefs are listening to offers for left tackle Branden Albert, which is curious given the release of right tackle Eric Winston but likely means offensive tackle is their biggest priority entering the draft. The decision will likely come down to either Texas A&M’s Luke Joeckel or Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher for the No. 1 overall pick, but don’t count out Florida...
