New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes had an odd take on the milk and cookies Christmas tradition.  At his house he decided to leave a rail of coke and a shot of Jack Daniels for Santa, because the cookies and milk would slow him down.  Everyone knows Santa has to hit every house in the world in one night, so I guess this is smart??? New England Patriots: How They Can/Can’t Win it All

Continuing in this series, I’ve got the next team I think is the most logical choice to win the Super Bowl this season; the New England Patriots. Now I realize that if your pick before the season started to play in the Super Bowl was New England and Green Bay, well you’re not going out on a limb too far. This is why that wasn’t my original pick. But if you were asking...

Tom Brady rips team in obscenity laced tirade

Patriots fans frustrated with their team after a lackluster, sloppy win over the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday might want to chew into their team. While that might not be possible, they can rest easy as Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took care of things for them.NFL.com:The New England Patriots beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but quarterback Tom Brady wasn't in the...

Patriots Probably Won’t Rest Regulars Sunday With Chance to Be No. 1 Playoff Seed (Video)

Who remembers the last week of the 2009 season? In a matchup against the Texans in Houston, Wes Welker tore his MCL and ACL on a non-contact play, missing the playoffs that season. That’s the kind of injury the Patriots will have to consider going into a Week 17 game against the Dolphins. Though New England is assured of a playoff spot, they could still earn a Round 1 bye or a...

The Dolphin's - Tom Brady Defense

Beating the Patriots is never easy with Belichick at the helm and Brady behind center, but Brady has a weakness and the Dolphins have exploited it in prior seasons. Brady is one of the hardest... Brady close to breaking wins record

Tom Brady was in his second season as a pro when he won his first playoff game. Now as a 13-year veteran, the New England Patriots star needs one more victory to break a tie with Joe Montana for most in the postseason by a quarterback. He'd love to get his 17th on Sunday against the Houston Texans, not just to reach the milestone but to also advance to the AFC championship...

Seven Patriots will play in Pro Bowl, do you even care?

I for one could care less. Who watches this game? It's great for players to be honored with a pro bowl selection but it becomes such a joke of a game. After injuries, etc. there's always a ton of players that get into the Pro Bowl despite probably not deserving it. Andy Dalton played in the Pro Bowl last year. Tom Brady, Patriots Must Find Momentum, Mental Toughness This Week to Keep Season From Slipping Away

Tom Brady was ticked off after the Patriots’ win against the Jaguars last Sunday. As he should have been — it was less a game than a poorly executed practice, with all facets of the team playing with a general malaise. While recent studies have shown that an angry Brady is a terrific Brady for the Patriots, this kind of angry Brady is not. Brady should be praised for getting...

In The Red Zone – December 25

Patriots Look to Improve Playoff Standing This Sunday is the final week of the NFL regular season and the Patriots (11-4/5-0) host their long-time rival the Miami Dolphins (7-8/2-3) at Gillette Stadium.  It is an important game for New England so don’t expect head coach Bill Belichick to be resting or protecting any players by sitting them unless the game is out of control...

Patriots vs. Jaguars: The Day After

There is a long-standing tradition of playing poor football in Jacksonville. This season the Jaguars have lived up to said tradition, posting a 2 – 12 record prior to their bout with the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Patriots have a tradition of being poor guests, posting a record of 58 – 26 on [...]

Vince Wilfork: Hard to believe Mark Pouncey's only in 2nd year

New England Patriots veteran nose tackle Vince Wilfork has gone head-to-head against Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey a few times. It's felt like more.Wilfork will be up against Pouncey, who is now finishing up his second season, when their respective teams square off Sunday. Patriots survive sleepy effort, sink Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tom Brady overcame two interceptions and three sacks and safety Patrick Chung picked off Chad Henne twice in the final minutes to preserve New England's 23-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at EverBank Field. The game was in doubt until the Patriots held off the Jaguars on two possessions in New England territory in the last four minutes...
