That familiar refrain of “No. 64 is eligible” will once again ring out inside the Superdome this season, as the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a new three-year contract with offensive tackle Zach Strief.
Strief, who has been with the Saints since they drafted him in the seventh round out of Northwestern in 2006, has filled in when needed at both left tackle and right tackle, while also playing frequently as a blocking tight end in jumbo sets.
