Well, it was indeed a close one in Atlanta between the Saints and the Falcons with it going into overtime before finally being decided by a FG kick by New Orleans Saints’ K John Kasay 2. The Saints win it 26-23 in overtime to improve to 7-3 with a big lead in the NFC South!

The Saints defense stood up when it counted the most, on 4th and inches at their own 30-yard line, with the Saints’ D-line surging against the Falcons’ O-line to stop Michael Turner well behind the line of scrimmage.
Saints SS Roman Harper 41 gets my game ball for the MVP on defense, while WR Marques Colston 12 gets it on offense for his key catches on third downs and 8 catches for 113 total yards to lead all Saints receivers on the day.
The Atlanta Falcons dropped down to 5-4 to occupy second place in the NFC South while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3rd in NFC South) lost today 9-37 to the Houston Texans (7-3) and the 2-7 Carolina Panthers (last in the NFC South) also lost a 3-30 game to the Tennessee Titans this afternoon to make this Saints victory over a division rival even more sweet!
