Elsa/Getty Images North America The New York Giants (0-5) play the Chicago Bear (3-2) this Thursday at Soldier Field in Chicago. The Giants will still be looking for their first win of the season. The Bears will be looking to win and move into first place in their division. We all know what kind of game this is for the Giants. Since this game is on a Thursday the Giants have a short week to figure out what kind of team will be going out on the field. The New York Giants are riddled with injuries on offense and defense. David Wilson is listed week to week and will probably not play against the Bears. The secondary is riddled with injuries with Corey Webster and Aaron Ross hurt. There has been no word if they will play or not after missing the game against the Eagles. Also Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul had injuries during the Eagles game. They may be a little sore for this game. Then there is the offensive line that is still depleted as well. The biggest matchup for this game is the Bears defense against the Giants offense. The Bears focus and generating turnovers on defense. That has been their defensive philosophy for the last few years. The Bears have 14 takeaways so far this year. That is third highest in the league. The Giants have a league high 20 turnover committed so far this year. Eli Manning has to play smarter if he hopes to lead his team to victory. The Giants can not afford turnovers. The next key matchup is Jay Cutler against the Giants pass rush. The Giants have always managed to have field days against the Bears pass protection. However; the Giants now have one of the worst pass rushes in the league this year. With the banged up secondary the Giants pass rush is more critical than ever. If the Giants do not get pressure on Cutler, he is going to have a big game on Thursday against the Giants. With all the Giants injuries and problems and a short week, the Giants have a tough game ahead. The Bears will be the victors in this game. The Bears will force turnovers and cause havoc for Eli Manning. The Giants defense will struggle without a pass rush, and Jay Cutler will have a big game. Bears win this one 35-17.
