The New York Giants will play host to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football tonight in what is a rematch of an offensive struggle last season, and certainly an offensive line struggle from the Bears point of view. The Giants famed pass rush sacked Jay Cutler nine times in the first half of their game last season, injuring him on the last one along the way. Todd Collins came in and was also exited from the game with a concussion of his own on the 10th and final sack from the Giants. The Bears offensive line unit didn’t show much improvement allowing nine sacks to the Buffalo Bills in their first preseason game last week, so the first thing every one will be watching is how the Giants different look defensive line looks against the Bears revamped offensive line. The Giants have two new faces on the defensive line starting tonight—Linval Joseph and Jason Pierre-Paul—but if last week is any indication, they aren’t going to be any less effective rushing the passer.
