It shouldn’t take much to bring him back, but Kevin Boss admitted tonight that he will test the free agent market this week despite having a desire to return to the New York Giants. “I owe it to myself and my family to test the market.” Boss said. As reported earlier, the Giants have their own issues to get under the $120 million salary cap, so if they lose boss they could be in trouble with Travis Beckum and Bear Pascoe as the only tight ends on the roster with some experience. They are polar opposites of each other; Beckum is a good receiving option but a terrible blocker, and Pascoe is known as a blocking specialist and spent most of last season as the team’s blocking full back. He told the NY Daily News his first priority is to return, but this could make his price on the market increase.
